How it works

Three steps from signup to a roaring trading pit.

01

Sign up your organisation

Create an Org Admin account. The PitX administrator allocates your event run quota.

02

Set up your event

Add stocks, import traders by CSV, create manager accounts and assign stocks.

03

Run live on event day

Open the projector view in the hall. Managers record trades. End round → results explode on screen.

Built for the chaos of a real pit

Open Outcry Model

Traders shout, negotiate and deal face-to-face. Managers record every trade in seconds.

Manager-Only Tech

Zero devices for traders. Only your stock managers operate a screen — exactly like a real pit.

Round-Based Settlement

VWAP, news shocks and leaderboard recompute the moment a round ends. No live ticks, no chaos.

Scales to Hundreds of Traders

Built for corporates, finance clubs, B-schools and college fests. One projector, one room, hundreds of participants.

Pay only for what you run. No hidden fees.

Frequently asked

What is open outcry?+

A trading model where buyers and sellers negotiate verbally on a physical floor — no screens between them. PitX digitises only the recording and settlement.

Do traders need devices?+

No. Only stock managers need a laptop or tablet. Traders carry printed ID cards and trade face-to-face.

What is an event run?+

One complete event from first round start to final settlement. Each organisation is granted a fixed number of runs by the PitX administrator.

Can I run multiple events simultaneously?+

No. One active event per organisation at a time, by design — keeps operations clean.

What happens at the run limit?+

Event creation is blocked until the PitX administrator allocates additional runs to your organisation.

How do I get more runs?+

Once you exhaust your runs, you can raise a request for more quota directly from your dashboard. Upon master approval, additional runs will be allocated to your organisation.
